A Specialist PDLP Module that will enable you to deliver the the flagship ‘I belong' course: Encouraging Girls into GCSE Computer Science. On completion of this course you will also become an 'I Belong Champion’ You will not be able to deliver the Encouraging Girls course without this specialist module.

Outcomes

By the end of the session you will:

  • Understand and be able to confidently discuss the I Belong Programme.

  • Understand the current challenges in encouraging girls into Computer Science and how NCCE and STEM can support the challenge.

  • Be able to confidently deliver the ‘Encouraging girls into GCSE Computer Science’ course.

  • Be able to confidently sell the programme to ensure participants of the course sign up to become an I Belong champion.
