CQF Support - Equality, diversity and inclusion
CZ119D Live remote training course
The Computing Quality Framework forms the backbone of an NCCE Computing Cluster, in which schools work collaboratively to improve computing education. This CPD supports progress on the equality, diversity and inclusion dimension of the CQF, helping schools to plan effectively.
Skip to course bookingThe Equality, diversity and inclusion dimension of the CQF focuses on inclusivity, equity of access, and developing a feeling of belonging in computing. It addresses support for learners with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) in computing, encouraging an evidence-led approach.
This CPD is aimed at those who are actively leading these efforts through subject and cluster leadership, whether in primary or secondary schools.
The session will support a strategic approach to CPD for the computing team. It will also help leads to plan in-school and cross-cluster interventions and collaborations that support progress towards the Computing Quality Mark, taking account of the different contexts for primary and secondary computing.
As well as guidance and sharing of 'what works elsewhere', the session will include a Q 'n' A workshop facilitated by an experienced cluster advisor. Advice and guidance, of benefit to all participants, will be discussed alongside supportive ideas and reflections from other participants.
