CQF support - Curriculum and Qualifications
CZ116D Live remote training course
The Computing Quality Framework forms the backbone of an NCCE Computing Cluster, in which schools work collaboratively to improve computing education. This CPD supports progress on the Curriculum and Qualifications dimension of the CQF, helping schools to plan effectively.
Skip to course bookingThe Curriculum and Qualifications dimension of the CQF covers curriculum intent, sequencing and progression. It supports a computing curriculum accessible by all, leading to relevant and valued qualifications in secondary schools.
This CPD is aimed at those who are actively leading these efforts through subject and cluster leadership, whether in primary or secondary schools.
The session will support a stragegic approach to CPD for the computing team. It will also help leads to plan in-school and cross-cluster interventions and collaborations that support progress towards the Computing Quality Mark, taking account of the different contexts for primary and secondary computing.
As well as guidance and sharing of 'what works elsewhere', the session will include a Q 'n' A workshop facilitated by an experienced cluster advisor. Advice and guidance, of benefit to all participants, will be discussed alongside supportive ideas and reflections from other participants.
