Programming Key stage 2 Teach primary computing certificate
Free online course 6 hours

This course will support you to embed the use of the micro:bit throughout your key stage 2 computing curriculum, making sure you are using the devices to their full potential.

You will learn how sequence, repetition, selection and variables can be used and taught on a micro:bit, and use this knowledge to plan or update your key stage 2 units of work.

You will explore the full capabitilies of the device, understanding its inputs and outputs, sensing and data capabitilites and the radio function as well as how it can be linked to Scratch to add extra functionality.

Who is it for?

Subject leaders and teachers of of primary computing in key stage 2 looking to make the most of their micro:bit devices across key stage 2
