Year 5
Lesson 5 Drawing designs
In this lesson, learners make use of their understanding of micro-controllers, output devices and selection when designing a project to meet the requirements of a given task. They identify how selection might be used in real-world situations to secure their understanding before identifying how they can apply this knowledge when designing their project. They produce detailed drawings to show how their model will be made and how they will connect the micro-computer to its components.
Learning objectives

- I can identify a real-world example of a condition starting an action
- I can describe what my project will do
- I can create a detailed drawing of my project
