Are you ready to make this the 🌞 summer of computing? 🌞

Here at the National Centre for Computing Education, we're so excited about what we have in store over the next few months to help you maximise your professional development and get ahead for September. To help you navigate our support, we've picked out a few of our highlights.

Claim your bursary this term

Time is running out to claim bursary funding this academic year to free you up to engage in CPD. Discover more about our financial support below.

Subject knowledge certificateDon't miss your chance to achieve your certificate this term and claim bursary funding for your school - available until 31 July 2022.

If you work in state-funded education, your school will be entitled to bursary funding of up to £1800 to enable you to participate in CPD as part of the Computer Science Accelerator programme. Trainee, supply or returning teachers will also be eligible for a deferred £920 bursary for your new school/department if you have gained employment in a state-funded school for September. Make sure you complete your certificate by 31 July to be guaranteed this financial support for your school.

Primary certificateWe offer one bursary each academic year to all state-funded schools to support teachers to engage in remote or face to face CPD. If your school has yet to claim this financial support this year, make sure you don't miss out.

Access our extensive range programme of CPD

Now is the perfect time to further your subject knowledge and prepare for the next academic year. We have a jam-packed programme of CPD available in June and July that you can engage in via face to face, online and live remote delivery.

This includes our new residential and intensive course programme, which offers high-impact, intensive training within a classroom environment.
