Fast-track Fortnight

We are excited to announce the launch of our brand new two-week CPD programme, Fast-track Fortnight.
Taking place between 21 March and 1 April 2022, Fast-track Fortnight will help you get to grips with the computer science curriculum and fill in gaps in your subject knowledge.
You can participate in as many courses as you choose to give you the confidence to teach computer science and support you to achieve our nationally-recognised Subject knowledge certificate.
What is the Fast-track Fortnight?
- ten courses split over two weeks, with daily educational themes
- a mixture of remote and face to face courses, delivered by Computing Hubs across England
- free to attend for teachers in state-funded education, trainees, supply and returning teachers
- bursary funding for state-funded schools and colleges to support participation
- additional short revision sessions to prepare you to take the test and receive your certificate

How do I complete my certificate?
By completing two courses (at least one to be face to face/remote), you will get access to a short test, and once you pass will receive your certificate.
If you're not quite ready to take the test and are looking for support to help you prepare, then our new short course is perfect for you. Preparing to take the test is available to book throughout the Fast-track Fortnight to help you ready yourself once you've completed your professional development.
You will have the support of an experienced facilitator who can help you with challenging topics, answer questions to enrich your subject knowledge, provide guidance on resources and discuss practice questions.
