Notes

Below, you’ll find notes relating to ideas and reading discussed in the episode, you can also view a full transcript of this episode.

06:28 - Back in 2016, Lynda participated in TICE (Teacher Inquiry in Computing Education) a CAS project led by Dr Sue Sentence. You can read more about TICE, read the projects undertaken by it's participants and a research paper highlighting the positive impact of this form of professional development.

07:00 - Lynda talks about unplugged activities, the idea of computing without a computer, you can find many such activities at csunplugged.org. When integrating unplugged activities it's important to consider how to connect them back to specific computing concepts, find our more in our semantic waves quick read.
